Taylor Hooper

With over two decades’ experience as a business owner, marketer, and content strategist — and an MSc in Digital Marketing — I help ambitious brands bring clarity to their marketing through joined-up strategy, messaging, and execution. I trained as an actor, worked as a portrait photographer, and have always been driven by a deep interest in people: what they value, how they think, and what makes them act. Since 2021, I’ve worked with KD in London to solve complex growth challenges, combining sharp commercial thinking with creative empathy and a collaborative, human approach.

Leading the agency’s commercial strategy, go to market and delivery systems, with clear board-level accountability for profitability and predictable pipeline.

Key responsibilities and recent achievements

  • Repositioned KD Web and returned the business to profitability within 12 months by restructuring, tightening commercial strategy, introducing financial controls, and prioritising project level profitability. I set the commercial targets and led the board and town hall communications that kept the team focused on measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Launched a redesigned KD Web website that doubled conversion rate and produced immediate inbound leads, creating a stronger front of house aligned to delivery capabilities and sales positioning.

  • Implemented Asana and Google Workspace as a single source of truth across the business, introduced time tracking and project templates, and improved delivery timelines and accountability across digital teams, which materially improved operational reliability and visibility.

  • Led the operations function from “zero to hero”, with strategic hiring to deliver templated delivery playbooks and quality controls so work is delivered on time and to standard, and project handoffs are consistent across teams.

  • Established commercial partnerships with platform partners, relaunched our newsletter, and hired an outbound sales resource who booked their first call within 48 hours, materially improving the top of funnel and partner driven demand.

  • Designed and operate integrated, multi-channel demand engines that combine paid media, SEO, creative, lifecycle and partnerships, with an experimentation cadence and commercial KPIs. I introduced outcome-based commercial models including an ROI guarantee and a revenue share option for full service engagements to better align incentives with clients.

  • Delivered high impact client launches and wins including The London Scar Clinic where our work delivered exceptional ROI while rapidly scaling the brand, and secured strategic contracts such as a website rebuild and SEO retainer for Kahootz.

  • Reorganised and restructured the digital marketing team in Budapest, improving client satisfaction and campaign performance, and put in place an account vs delivery playbook to reduce handoffs and make upsell consistent and measurable.
